CFURLRef -> NSFileManager path

Is there an easy way to take a CFURLRef that points to a local file and turn it into a string that can be read by NSFilemanager so I could do something like fileExistsAtPath? I don't know anything about carbon and I would like to get back to cocoa as fast as possible :)
