They can't save files to disk ;)
No matter how well thought out a system might be, there will always
be flaws. You can't protect yourself from people with a low IQ or
people with a high IQ (the latter being the most difficult to deal
with)

Problem is, they might only have an internet connection at work. They
just download the software for home. Even thought you attached the
plist, their work server/firewall might filter attachments out with
weird extensions (is plist standard on windows?) or they may not be
able to save files at all to take home (they got CCI off a magazine
CD), Then what? Then they email you for support. What would your
answer be to this problem?
I would give them a URL to download the plist to take home with the program.
