That's not 'nuff said. You don't release code just to release it. If you do,
it's probably "rubbish" code.
My guess is you write the code, and release it, for practice. To possibly
get feedback. To improve your skills as a coder. For whatever reason, but
not "just because."
Doing something that requires effort - releasing code does, however minimal
- is not something people do for no reason. There's always a reason. A
motive.
People don't do things that require effort for absolutely no reason unless,
as I said, they're mentally ill. We exercise for health, we walk to the
fridge for a Coke. We breathe to stay alive. I write tutorials on Cocoa Dev
Central - "open source plus" in a way - because I like to help people out
(among other reasons). And so on. You release your code for a reason, not
"just to release it." If you're having problems admitting it to yourself,
though, that's an area I won't touch.
