So,

I've got a frustrating problem with the shared font manager.

I have a document based application geared to producing automatic reports.
Part of the app is a drawer that contains uneditable NSTextFields that show
samples of what the final report will look like. The user can change the
fonts used in the different samples, by clicking on a radio button then
using the font panel.

The NSDocument catches the changeFont() calls as they occur and updates the
text fields to show the changes.

All this works fine - except that the Bold, Italic, and Underline menu items
are greyed out.

Any idea how to enable these items? InterfaceBuilder shows them as connected
To the shared font manager.
