Hi,
I wonder if anyone on the list has time to test out my app - the
first public beta was released a few weeks ago and we'd really like a
lot of people testing it so that it can be improved and have any
problems ironed out before it's more well publicised.
It's actually several applications (a downloader, a Media Manager
a.k.a. Scene Manager, and a screensaver) all for organising,
displaying and downloading full-screen images from the Altscape
network. The part most likely to have bugs is a background app which
you could just leave running, so it wouldn't take much of your time
to test. I won't go into too much detail here or it will sound like
an advert - there's more information on Altscape at

are interested in testing, please email me and I'll give you some
more details - or you could just download it and only email me if you
find a bug.
Thanks in advance to any of you who take the time to test my
software... and also, thanks to all of you who have helped me when
I've had problems developing the apps (and the installer package,
which was also quite troublesome!)
By the way. I'm really proud that the Mac OS X version of this app is
out already and all their Windows developer has managed so far is a
screensaver! :^) Especially since I've only been learning Cocoa
for... well, actually nearly 11 months. It doesn't seem like it's
been that long, the excitement hasn't died down yet.
