Reading filed mail from the Mail.app?

  • Subject: Reading filed mail from the Mail.app?

All,

I've looked through the Foundation & App Kit frameworks and didn't see anything (not that I suspected I would) for reading mail that has been filed in the mail.app.

Basically, I have messages that a mail.app rule is auto-filing for me and now I would like to be able to programmatically read these messages and create a new e-mail message (that I could then check over before pressing send myself).

Does the command line utility 'mail' work in conjunction with the gui mail.
app?

Do I have to get creative with external NSTasks & Procmail & Formail?!?

Any pointers? (Even if it is a "tough luck" pointer...)

Thanks!

+= Jeff Knee
