Make sure you are using the symbol and/or wingdings part of
unicode, not the 8-bit character you are used to.
Thanks,
Andrew Pinski
PS look at www.unicode.com for more info and also the archives,
I helped someone before on this list or on the carbon list, I
forgot which.

Hello:
I can't seem to get any of the fonts that display symbols
(i.e. Wingdings, Webdings, Monotype Sorts, Zapf Dingbats) to
work. There are some symbols that would be useful that I'd
like to use in an NSView. I'm using an
NSMutableAttributedString and it's drawAtPoint: method to draw
text to the view, but anything drawn is not in a symbol font;
It's in a regular alpha-numerical font. I've also noticed that
TextEdit can't display these fonts either. Is it possible to
use these fonts somehow?
Also, is it possible to draw text upside-down in an NSView?
Thanks,
