Hi.
I have a problem with NSHost. On one machine in our network the method:
[[NSHost currentHost] addresses];
always returns 127.0.0.1 - but the box HAS a fixed IP. So, what is the
best way to get the IP-Address of the box? I need it to create a port
command for an ftp-client.
The thing that stands out in my mind is the phrase "one machine"...
What's different about that machine?
Different OS X 10.?.?
Different hardware?
Does it have a location set wrong?
Does it communicate normally otherwise (IP sharing, Internet access, etc?)
Is it running VPC?
Is it running Sharity?
Is it running Dave?
Is it running DigiTunnel?
I'd look hard and long at the settings of that box, compared to the other
boxes that work..
