A search at Apple on "C++" returned "No
documenation on 'c and'".

The search engine (google) seems to consider '+' to be a special character, and ignores it. I don't know if there is a way to escape it somehow (quotes don't seem to do it).

... and now that I look, I see that regular Google's advanced search has an "exact phrase" field. I don't know why they couldn't expose this on developer.apple.com--it sure would be useful.

Anyway, you can do the same search on Google: advanced search, fill in the exact phrase, and set it to only return results from developer.apple.com. The page I listed is the first one in the search results.
