Does Cocoa use /usr/share/zoneinfo?

  • Subject: Does Cocoa use /usr/share/zoneinfo?

Hi!

Does Cocoa use the information in /usr/share/zoneinfo for handling time zones?

Ie, if I download the latest tzdata and create new time zone files with 'zic -L leapseconds ...', will this updated information be used in Cocoa?

Would I encounter any problems updating the time zone files?

Thanks,
Malte
