"Where to go from here?" 2

Hello, everybody.

I am posting this as a question, but also as a reaction to the question raised by Evan.

I have never read a book about Cocoa.
I have never read a book about ObjC.

Yet, I believe I can whip a Cocoa app without much hassle (yes, I am sure I have a lot to learn, and that I cannot really create something of the magnitude of iPhoto, for example).
My question is, what am I missing by not reading any books about Cocoa? Unlike Evan, I am self taught... I just use the scarce documentation and any resources I can find... and I program, program, program... I do various mini-apps to figure out how things work.

Sincerely,

Nick
