An image for the current cursor?

  • Subject: An image for the current cursor?

I'd like to get an NSImage for the cursor the user's currently sees.
Before you point me to +[[NSCursor currentCursor] image], allow me to note that that method returns the cursor currently set for the app; but if the app is not the active app, the actual cursor seen by the user may be different.
Does anybody know how to get the actual cursor the user sees? Is there a way to do this in Carbon?
