yup, wrong idiom. I knew that that would be the trick.

Doing to tutorials versus reading them, yeah, you're right I know it, but there is always delivery pressures. In my case the pressure is for a UI prototype Real Soon Now... And yes, if you don't have to do it right, when are you going to have time to fix it.
