DERIVED_SOURCES_DIR

  • Subject: DERIVED_SOURCES_DIR

I would like to modify a .m file before compilation by using a script. I've
set up a script phase in Project Builder and I am depositing the modified .m
file into the directory specified in $DERIVED_SOURCES_DIR.

My question is: how to I direct PB to compile the derived source, but not
the original? Do I need to spell it out in the Sources phase, or is there a
way to tell PB to prefer derived sources over originals?

If I missed this in the PB manual somewhere, please let me know. It wasn't
apparent to me.

Thanks for your help.
