In general for any kind of programming, including, but not limited to Cocoa:
This depends on my mood. If I feel I have a lot of energy, I grab my
guitar, put on a few homebrewed fx., some I as hardware, some I wrote as
software for my Falcon. Turn up the volume and go crazy.
In other situations I may dress up like a begger (uhm dress up ?) and go
on the street and get some real money.
If the above doesn't help, I grab either Starcraft or Deimos Rising,
until I calm down.
Warning: *Never* turn on the TV. You'll get distracted and won't get
anything done.
It happens that I start reading/replying to emails for an hour as well.
If it's a problem that I know I know nothing about (nothing wrong with
that sentence), I search the Web, using !*EX^!#R Google (which cannot do
specific searches on for instance "'str#'" and "'tab#'"), if I can't find
the solution, and believe that the list can give me a quick reply, I
still try a last time, and *then* I ask the list.
If the above does not help, I start hacking, and *then* it works!
Love,
Jens
