Is there somewhere some publicly available code for a control having a
continuous action (something like a slider or stepper)? I would like to
define new ones (for 3D), and I'm unsure what's the best way to do that.
If I understand well, I have to start a new run loop, but now the
documentation becomes very criptic on that...
Check out http://www.sticksoftware.com/software/CircularSlider.html.
It can be set to fire its action continuously, as well as demonstrating
several other common things that people want to do in custom controls.
There are terms of usage; it is copyrighted but open source, so please
read the terms before using it.
Thanks again, it helped a lot. A remark about your beautiful
SSCircularSlider: you make use of a notification to know when the control
tint change, but this is apparently not necessary. I removed it in my code,
and still the control is displayed again when I change the control tint.
