NSScrollView with text fields

I have a window in a nib fil with a NSImageView which I have in a NSScrollView. I tried to drop a NSTextField into the NSImageView, but the result is that the text field is not moving when I scroll the view. I have not seen anyone else mention this in the archives. Do I have to do this programmatically?
