Hi,
Could you give me more information on PowerText, please?
What about support of Cyrillic? Unicode? OSX version requirements?
Is it
intended to become a commercial application?
Hello!
I am sorry but I do not exactly know what you mean by supporting
Cyrillic or Unicode. Could you explain? The OS X requirements are
at least version 10.1.3. I am intending it to become shareware but
I think it is not big enough to become commercial yet.
Does it support paragraphs of text?
Again, I am confused when you ask if it supports paragraphs of
text, could you explain?
Regarding possible beta-testing: what are the conditions? Has a
beta-tester
to pay for it? What would you expect from a beta tester?
There are no conditions to beta testing this application, and you
do not have to pay to test it. I would expect good bug reports,
suggestions of features no matter how small they are (ie. "I think
the default font size should be 10pt") I also expect that this
beta tester will not just walk away in the middle of testing.
Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that whatever I say, you do.
No, I am merely saying I like dedicated beta testers. Even if they
only spend thirty minutes on it but send awesome bug reports or
suggestions I would like it more then if someone spent the whole
day on it and sent in nothing.
And, by the way, are you a relative of William Atkinson (MacPaint,
HyperCard
etc?)
There is a William Atkinson in our genealogy but I do not think I
am a relative of this particular William.
Have a great day!
Albert

Oleg

Subject: Beta Testing?
Hey guys!
I have programmed an application called PowerText which is a very
powerful replacement of Text Edit. Problem is I need more beta
testers. Would any of you be willing to test this out and submit
bug reports? If not, where could I go to find someone?
Thanks to all of you!
Albert
