Ditto for me.
Got into Cocoa cause the developer tools were there, they were free, and
there was documentation.
Apple Australia then ran some Cocoa courses around the universities, I
was lucky enough to get a huge subsidy from them on a place, and spent
two days getting things clear enough in my head and being exposed to
enough that I can now strike out reasonably confidently on my own
(Thanks Ashley! :-)
Apple seem to be doing an ok job supporting/promoting it ....
