Color of focus ring

I've looked every place that I know to look and haven't found a way to change the color used for the focusring. Is it possible to change it to use a color other than 'keyboardFocusIndicatorColor' or is there a way to change that system color (not something that I want to do, mind you).

I would like the focus ring to be the color of the current 'selectedControlColor' for the user. I noticed that it works that way in OmniWeb. Anybody have any hints?
