Stepwise and Apple are pleased to announce the annual Stepwise
"Cocoa/WebObjects" Birds of a Feather meeting at WWDC 2002, sponsored by
Apple Computer, Inc.
As in previous years, this will be an informal event aimed at bringing
together the user community of Apple's next-generation technologies,
including Cocoa and WebObjects.
This year the event will be held in the Civic Auditorium (directly
across from the San Jose Convention Center), from 6:30-9:30pm, on
Tuesday 7 May.
The event will showcase the best reusable Cocoa and WebObjects
components submitted to Stepwise (submission details forthcoming). There
will also be presentations from Apple engineers, together with, we hope,
other members of the community -- hence this call!
We are soliciting proposals for 20-minute-or-so presentations about any
topic which might be of general interest to the community. In the past
we have had talks about the MiscKit, Japanese localization issues, and
Direct To Web templating. (The main constraint is that presentations
should not be sales pitches.)
If you would like to give a presentation, send a brief outline to
email@hidden, no later than Friday April 12.
Current Agenda
6:30 - 8:30 User/developer presentations
8:30 - 9:00 Best of Cocoa palettes
9:00 - 9:30 Best of WebObjects reusable components
We are also seeking sponsorship for the event. Companies (or any rare
individuals whose investment portfolios returned then a generous profit
this year) wishing to sponsor Stepwise and the BOF should also email
email@hidden. The earlier you sign up, the earlier you will
gain recognition!
(*) Stepwise celebrated its 8th birthday on March 27, 2002.
