Cocoa Equivalents for AppleEvent calls.

Does cocoa have anything equivalent to the following AppleEvent calls?

AESend
AEPut/GetParamPtr
AEPut/GetAttributePtr

And if it has an AESend equivalent, what call would be used to place the PSN of the target app into the AppleEvent?
