Kinda generic question, is it not? Have you read NSView.html?

Well anything visible is a view: button, text field, text editor, icon...


Oh, I meant if you could point out some tutorial... I'm right now writing an app that requires me to dynamically create tabs (thats not hard) and put into them a view (either a text view, an image view or a ?sound view? -- that is, a sound clip just like quicktime preview in finder). Is there any reference (besides the not-very-helpful apple documentation: it's quite good if you know how something works and want details, but not good for starting from scratch).
