Yes, checkmarks are broken. And so are icons, so don't try that
either. :-)

btw, please try to search cocoa.mamasam.com before posting; I wrote
about this in January:

In Episode I, I said I didn't find the post so mea culpa, sed non mea maxima culpa.

Since your issue is from January and that some Mac OS X releases have been done since, I'm beginning to wonder if one big issue with Cocoa is that it can't be updated or fixed in minor Mac OS X updates.

Lack of checkmark => Stop developing the feature I was implementing. It's really faster to code in Cocoa :-(
