Is there a bug ID stating that you can't checkmark an item in a submenu
of the Application Dock Menu?
[myItem setState:NSOnState]; => No checkmark
whereas myItem is working fine for setTarget, setAction, setEnabled.
And
setState:ON is working fine
Yes, checkmarks are broken. And so are icons, so don't try that
either. :-)
btw, please try to search cocoa.mamasam.com before posting; I wrote
about this in January:
In Episode I, I said I didn't find the post so mea culpa, sed non mea

Since your issue is from January and that some Mac OS X releases have
been done since, I'm beginning to wonder if one big issue with Cocoa is
that it can't be updated or fixed in minor Mac OS X updates.
Lack of checkmark => Stop developing the feature I was implementing.
It's really faster to code in Cocoa :-(
