Huh? Do you mean that the 4.5 EOF does ship with Mac 10 after all? Without having to purchase WOF?
Hmm...
I can just see it now. Company X delivers a successful business app for Mac 10. Apple sues it claiming that it didn't properly license the use of an OS part that is shipped by apple to each customer as part of the OS.
Sure. Apple wouldn't be stupid enough to sue someone that delivers a successful business app for Mac 10, right?
And, if someone were to deliver such an app, maybe that would tell Apple that they need to support it, and Apple would actually update/maintain it, right?
Maybe what we need is for people to actually resume using this deprecated API until Apple realizes that it is needed, and can't just be tossed aside, right?
So how's LGS doing these days :-)
[LGS had an application that relied on ObjC Eof, on NT. A good app, but they can't sell it anymore at all.]
