Locking mapped files

  • Subject: Locking mapped files

Folks,

I would like to use NSData's dataWithContentsOfMappedFile method for working with large data sets. What is the best way to lock this file in order to guarantee that someone does not move, rename or delete it while the file is in use?

TIA
