The doc for NSApplication->showHelp: asserts that "(You set the
application'
s help file using Project Builder.)", but I cannot find any applicable
specifics on this issue in the PB help, or searching the web. I
specifically do not want to use the halt/lame Help Viewer (I don't know
about you, but it annoys me just to see that life-ring icon start
bouncing in my dock) -- it is my intention to use an rtf file.
I agree about Help Viewer. Anyway, for your help file, just add it in the
"Resources" part in PB (don't forget to make it localized) and name it
exactly the same as your application, with appropriate suffix (.rtf or
.html). For instance Foo.rtf if your app is named Foo. That's all: the
help menu will find it (after rebuild obviously). You can edit a rtf or
html file in PB, or any other appropriate app.
