I have to chime in here because I think that a logo is a terrible idea.
I have never understood the need for these "Made with" logos because all
they do is promote the tools manufacturer, in this case Apple. It is very
obvious that it is a Mac product because it runs on Mac OS X.
Also, as someone with one foot in Carbon and one in Cocoa I think that it is
more important to make the two environments equal in the user's eyes. Users
don't care what tool was used to build an application, just that it solves a
need.
Of course, it obvious that using Cocoa can bring you as a developer a lot of
functionality for little or no work and this makes writing a Mac OS X
application much easier.
Let's just all (Java, Cocoa, Carbon, RealBasic, ...) be proud to have Mac OS
X applications ! Who cares what they are written in ?
