Color indexed TIFF

  • Subject: Color indexed TIFF

I would like to access the 8-bit values of a color indexed TIFF file. NSBitmapImageRep transforms the values automatically into the RGB representation. Is there a way to read the unmodified values with an existing Cocoa class? What would be the best way ( tifflib, quicktime, ...? ) if Cocoa does not do it?

Thanks, Kolja
