Here in France, we are also wondering whether we should stop using our Apple IIe and switch to the Mac Classic II and System 7.0. We're not sure we should make the jump because System 7.0 needs at least 6 MB to work correctly and we can't find any DIMM module over 2 MB. Another issue is that it does not seem possible to insert our 5"1/4 floppy disk in the 3"1/2 slot. Did Apple really think this was such a good idea to abruptly stop supporting 5"1/4 floppy disks? Happily it seems the ImageWriters can be connected with not too much effort. This is cool because it will allow us to print our code from LightSpeed Pascal. I just hope posting this message over my 1200/75 bds connection is going to take less than 30 minutes.
