Italic systemfont in cell

I have a tableView where i would like to display some cells in italic,
Im using "small system font" and it has only has regular and bold.
If i use an attributedstring and applyFontTraits:NSItalicFontMask it
displays the string in italic with the system font i think?
But how do i set the cell setFont to display in italic if it's not part
of the font family?
