Sorry--you're right: searching Apple's archive in this case yields more
frustration than information, as is frequently the case.
http://cocoa.mamasam.com is easier to surf and search, and includes
Omnigroup's macos-dev.

I used "launch document new create" to search the list archives.
I'm not sure how you got the mamasan references from *Apple's* list...?
If you're going to ask a newcomer to search the archives, I think it's
reasonable to expect the answer to show up in the archives they're
going to search...
