[newbie] sending PDF to printer

  • Subject: [newbie] sending PDF to printer

I've got a simple app that dynamically generates PDF documents. Rather than send them to Preview, Acrobat, or another PDF viewer, I want to be able to print them directly from my app. I've read documentation on adding Printing support to an app, but it seems to be more relevant to apps that have NSViews that should be printed rather than an an existing ("native") file that you just want to pass through to the Print center via a standard print panel.

Can anyone offer some advice on this and/or point me in the right direction? I feel like I'm missing something really obvious (perhaps I just haven't found the right documentation!).

Thanks much,
- Eric
