NSSplitView and NSTabView

  • Subject: NSSplitView and NSTabView

Hi!

If I place an NSTabView inside an NSSplitView, then when the split view is resized, the contents of the tab view seem to shift unexpectedly.

Specifically, I have a split view with a tab view in each subview of the split view. In the tab view I have an NSOutlIne view. If I resize the split view, the outline view's header can slide up out of view and never be recovered again. Also, if the window is resized, the tab view can get messed up the same way.

In IB, I've tried all kinds of "spring" settings to no avail.

Is this a known issue? Has anyone worked around this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
