Greetings,,

I have an application where I create a cross hair cursor
(following the category on NSCursor example from the ABY book).
When I bring all the windows to front I set the cursor to the cross
hair. As the windows become visible, the cross hair appears
briefly and then is immediately replaced with the standard
arrow cursor. I am baffled by this behaviour. I have tried
all kinds of combinations of -set and -push, to no avail . . .

I swear I sat for 2 minutes trying to figure out what book you meant... :-)

One of the front windows must have a tracking rect set that is setting the cursor back... this is the best way to set the cursor for a region of a screen..
