I'd say "just use NSDateFormatter", but I spent the entire day
yesterday working around bugs in it, and I wouldn't wish that on
anyone. Please file a bug asking Apple for a real Cocoa date control
like the Carbon one.
There are free ones about, like the one at www.blackholemedia.com/code
