Yes, it seems quite broken at the moment...Both in the current version
and back in 10.0 and 10.1 I also occasionally have problems with the
debugger misinterpreting the symbolic information and line numbers, and
displays all the wrong stuff when I set a breakpoint. It becomes
impossible to step that code when what is shown on the screen doesn't
match what is really executed. It doesn't help to create a fresh
project with the same source files as before - the problem follows the
source...

Could someone from Apple comment on the poor handling of symbolic
debugging, especially related to Objective-C, in the current gdb/dev
tools suite? The question may be better suited for the pbdev mailing
list - I am sorry...
I'd like to hear some discussion of it here, though. As I've said
before, gdb (or the PB interface to it) is now pretty much busted OMM;
po doesn't do anything most of the time. I mostly "debug" by using
lots of NSLogs. m.
