So, I was a bit bored.

I wrapped the front end of my app a bit, added a DO connection to a preferences pane, if anyone feels like playing it's at http://www.tufty.co.uk/Software

Note that this is not freeware, but it's not crippled either. If you feel like paying, well great, but until then use it until your conscience tells you otherwise.

As it happens, I don't use it - I hacked my own app together that does similar things, only monitors console.log, and does the things I wanted that DesktopConsole doesn't do. It took all of a couple of hours to write, although all configuration is through `defaults write ...` as opposed to a slick user interface. But I wrote it because DTC doesn't do what I want, wheras my app does. I didn't write it because I 'do not want to pay'. Still, if anyone feels the need to not pay for DTC, but fancies paying me, I can wrap a slick little prefs panel around my code and release it as non-cripppled shareware ;-)

Well, we finally have an indoor toilet. But what new disasters have struck the Alpenproject?
