Aaron's book requires good knowledge of C, and at least some
familiarity with object oriented concepts (through Java, C++ or another
object oriented language. I don't think RealBasic is enough :-( ).
Get yourself a good introductory book on C and perhaps read the more
general chapters on OOP in a book about some OO programming language.
