Speaking of menus, will we ever see tear-offs again? or has that idea been put to rest?
And I know this has been requested quite a few times: a configurable Services menu as a contextual menu.

Oddly enough, a friend pointed out a case where carbon apps get something for free and cocoa apps do not. The option command h key combo for Hide Others. Cocoa developers need to add it to existing apps (and OmniWeb has the wrong key combo). This will probably be true in the future if, for some reason, these menu items are ever renamed as well.

On the flip side, Carbon apps can be less stable, don't have the Cocoa "for free" features, and are much harder to write.
