CORBA for Client/Server

  • Subject: CORBA for Client/Server

Hi.

I am about to resume working on a project to write a Mac (Cocoa) client application that connects via CORBA to a Windows (Delphi) server.

I currently plan to use the Mico ORB, though that isn't set in concrete. Mico is C++, so I will be using ObjC++, with C++ data objects and ObjC Cocoa view and controller objects.

I was wondering if anyone here has experience with CORBA, and could offer any advice, code snippets, or other assistance?

(Of course, if someone knew of a Distributed Objects wrapper for a CORBA ORB, that'd be even better!)
