Permanent Display Changes

  • Subject: Permanent Display Changes

I have been playing around with the CoreGraphics API lately doing
resolution switching, etc... and I was wondering if there is any way
to make any of those changes permanent (i.e. persist after the app
session/after the app quits). There is a Carbon call called
DMSaveScreenPrefs that is supposed to do that but even though it
compiles with no warnings the call does not seem to be implemented (it
doesn't do anything). Any ideas?

Thanks,
Alex
