Hi Ever body,

Thank you for the kind help you all have rendered to my query on cocoa for a newbie. Well from the emails I got i have figured that cocoa is not a difficult environment to learn as such. I need to get my hands dirty and yes the guy from Big Nerd Ranch does seem to be a good starting point. I will get the books and get into cocoa.

Thank you all again.

In addition to the replies you got in other posts, the Stepwise website (www.stepwise.com) has several excellent resources. First is a series of online tutorials authored by Bill Cheeseman, called the Vermont Recipes. Not to be missed. Second is a page called, I think, Cocoa Starting Points, with links to a series of articles dealing with basic Cocoa programming issues which trip everyone up who is starting to program with ObjC/Cocoa.
