contextual menus in finder / cocoa & carbon integration

  • Subject: contextual menus in finder / cocoa & carbon integration

I want to write a contextual menu "plugin" to the Finder, do I have to use Carbon?

Is there any interoperability between CFPluginServices (based on C++ COM) and Cocoa? (host app is cocoa, plugins are C++/Carbon or vice versa?)

How difficult is it to use Carbon things and Cocoa things in the same "plugin"?

How difficult is it to use Carbon things and Cocoa things in the same "host application"?

Thanks,

C. Keith Ray
