I will see what I can do about getting it in a future update.

That would be nice! :) I would like to release software which will use a tight line height.

For what it's worth, it appears to be only the displayed highlighting that is incorrect; the selection is actually maintained correctly.

I agree, only the highlighting is affected, not the actual selection.
