Heh. Well, I did manage to get it renamed. For better or worse, the mutt remains the same. Unfortunately, there's still a lot of places where the old edition is available. The Apple stores in both Chicago and Palo Alto still have the old book (or at least they did as of Thursday and Friday respectively).

Apple should start a new promo, offering several hundred dollars off any new computer for turning over a copy of the old dog, dog-eared or not! Right after they give Dan Wood a truck load of money for putting Watson on life support. Right after they use some of that 4.3 BILLION in cash to buy back some of their stock now that it's only ten bits over the cash on hand value. And hire a librarian! And bring back EOF for Cocoa. . . .
