Quicktime: Starting From a Specific Point

Hi,
I've got a cocoa application that plays a QuickTime stream which works great.

Now i'd like to add a "bookmark" feature to my program, for example while the user is listening to the stream they click a button and the current position of the movie is taken and saved, then later they can jump back to that position and begin playing the movie from the previously saved point.

So,
How would I get the current position of a playing movie?
How would I start playing a movie at a set position ie. start 8 minutes into the movie?

Thanks for your help.

Luke
