I agree. My point was that there's probably not much of a perceived market for an EOF Cocoa substitute.

Yes, and I have lobbied Apple for its return, to no avail.

You're absolutely right, but if Apple doesn't bring it back, I still doubt that a third party is chomping at the bit to give us an alternative, and I also doubt that Apple will open source it, despite their "commitment" to the open source community. =(
