Well I don't know if this is documented in the HIG but as far as I am
concerned almost every application which I really use with the
keyboard almost all the time (e.g. Eudora) supports choosing buttons
in dialogs by their first letter.
That way I can always work with the keyboard and don't loose the
advantage of having a real good safety net from a dialog.
I say this because I think this discussion is not about taking power
away from a power user, but about making it fun and safe to use a mac.
