Quick Compiler Warning Question

  • Subject: Quick Compiler Warning Question

Hello,

I appreciate the feedback on my prior question and I'm starting to get on a bit of a roll. I have one quick question.

The compiler spits out warnings whenever I send messages to type "id" objects. Is there any way to turn this off either just for type ids, or for all objects? It seems that the gcc doc on Apple's site does not say too much about Objective-C.

Also, again when I send messages to ids, the compiler warns that the return type defaults to id. Is there a way to turn this off as well?

Thanks again for any pointers!
